IRISH OPTIMIST National & Open Championships

17th - 20th August 2017, Royal Irish Yacht Club

The Royal Irish Yacht Club is delighted to host the Optimist National Championships 2017 from Thursday 17th August to Sunday 20th August in conjunction with the International Optimist Dinghy Association of Ireland (IODAI).

We look forward to welcoming over 200 competitors from all over Ireland as well as visiting sailors from other countries to our club, located in the picturesque Dun Laoghaire Harbour. The club enjoys a superb waterfront location looking out to Dublin Bay, and the town of Dun Laoghaire is within walking distance. The club and its facilities will be at your disposal throughout the Championship.

The Supplementary Sailing Instructions have been updated further in light of the road closures due to an Iron Man competition tomorrow.  The 1st Warning signal for the Main fleet has been changed from 12:55 to 11:55.
